He was predeceased by: his parents, Nehme Badawi and Farida Badawi (Watfa); his grandson Ryan Badawi; and his brothers, Hanna and Neeman Badawi.
He is survived by: his wife Nadia; his children, Lisa Burkett (Kyle), George Badawi (Jackie), Rick Badawi and Yvonne Badawi (Ted Keaton); his grandchildren, Allyson Burkett (Tucker Kowalski), Stephen Burkett, David Burkett (Rebecca), Scott Burkett (Angie), Taylor Gourdine, Sean Burkett, Devin Badawi, Caleb Keaton and Danica Badawi; and his siblings, Michel Badawi, Yvonne Rahme, Simone Ayoub, Naemi Badawi and Viva Majdalani. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In memory of Adel memorials may be made to two organizations close to his heart, The A-T Children's Project or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
