He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Osman and Gosling; his son-in-law Benjamin Munn; and his brothers, Lawrence Butler, Robert Butler, Chuck Butler and Don Osman.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia May Walker; his children, Judy Munn and Timothy Butler; his brother Al Osman (Jane); his grandchildren, Brett Butler, Amanda Butler, Lisa Munn and Kelly Schuyler (Jason); his great grandchildren, Aidyn Underwood, Tristan Schuyler, Parker Schuyler, Gabe Schuyler, Sophie Schuyler, Landon Butler and Izabella Wilcox-Smith; and his sisters-in-law, Marie Walker and Sandy Holubar (Butch). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
