It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred C. Spears Sr. of Grand Junction, Michigan, born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on April 14, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elster Clayton and Janice Spears (Artrip). He is survived by: his wife Rosemary (Bevins); his children, Alfred Spears, Jr., Rachael Spears, Jennifer Spears (Vanessa Medina), Robert Spears (Erin) and Samuel Spears (Davy Chey Smith); his grandchildren, Shelby Spears (Steven Kennedy), Corbin Carr, Rueben Spears, Gabby McCormick, Clayton McPike, Tilden McPike, Isobel Spears, Oliver Spears, Evette Spears, Annabelle Spears, Trinity Spears, Abel Rewalt and Elster Spears; and his siblings, Marlene Guffey (Dennis), Sheila Gail Scianna (John), Ken Spears, April Spears Moon (John) and Timothy Scott Spears (Robin). He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
The family will host a celebration of life in his honor at a later date due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Alfred's widow, Rosemary, through GoFundMe.
