He was predeceased by: his father Clifford Cottrell; his grandson Ethan Cottrell; and his siblings, Margaret Brooks and Robert Cottrell. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kuhlman; his children, Heather Kasmauski (Bill) of Harbor Springs, MI, Scott Cottrell (Rhonda) of Big Rapids, MI and Joey Cottrell of Grand Haven; his grandchildren, Allison Kasmauski (Ian Betterly), Riley and Emma Cottrell; and his siblings, Dorothy Beukema and Russell Cottrell.
