It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia Ruth Weenink (Grand Haven, Michigan), born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son James B. Weenink; and her husband Allan J. Weenink. She is survived by: her sister Phyllis Huff; her children, John A. Weenink, Judith, Scott Schoonover, Jeffrey D. and Jeanne Weenink; her grandchildren, Scott A., Sara J. (Schoonover), Gregory Betz, Jenneke E., Justyne J and Jaime B. Weenink; and her great grandchildren, Lucy and Kellan Betz.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Est First Presbyterian Church (508 Franklin Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial gifts can go to the Allan J. and Virginia R. donor advised fund through the Presbyterian Foundation.
