She was predeceased by: her parents, Merton Buckner and Florence Buckner (Payne); her daughter Debra Veldheer; her grandson Jacob "Jake" Dozeman; and her siblings, Doris Thomas and Jack Buckner.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Sutton; her children, Charlene Giuchici, Susan Sutton-Mazzacco (Kevin), Ken Sutton and Rich Sutton; her sisters-in-law, Ruth Buckner and Joan Sutton; and her pet Buffy. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
