He was predeceased by: his spouse Sherrian Smith. He is survived by: his children, Sara Short, Holly Blakeney (Kevin Conway), Stef Hall and Jeffrey Hall (Buffy); his grandchildren, Owen Short, Sophia Short, Isabella Short, Ryan Su, Aoife Conway, Alison Hall, Abigail Hall and Connor Hall; and his siblings, Cathy Pegg-Owens (Peter Carey), Susan Pegg and Daniel Pegg (Brenda Espinosa).
While Tom was limited late in life by Parkinson's, he still enjoyed the weekly "breakfast with the boys" every Thursday, a peaceful drive to see his lake, and quietly reading the newspaper, especially the Sports section.
