It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas McKay of Grand Haven, Michigan, who passed away on November 9, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Doreen Frelitz; his parents, Harold McKay and Helen McKay; his brother Roger McKay; and his grandson Brian Moralez.
He is survived by: his wife Sherlene; his children, Debbie, David VanderWood, Denise, Marty Moralez and Diane Williams; his stepchildren, Pam, Todd Bursley, Doug and Sue VanderWood; his siblings, Robert McKay and Nancy Dewey; and his siblings-in-law, Melvin and Connie VanderWest. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project or Salvation Army.
