Ruth Anne Wildrom Obituary
We bid farewell to Ruth Anne Wildrom of Grand Haven, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 12, 2024 at the age of 83. Ruth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Buikema and Ruth Buikema (VerHoeks); and her husband Julian Wildrom. She is survived by: her children, Julie Schmeltzer (Michael) of Grand Haven, Pam Doan (Mike) of Zeeland, David Wildrom (Chris) of Grand Haven and James Wildrom (Christine) of Grand Haven; her grandchildren, Allie Visser (Ben), Joy Creighton (Tim), Caleb Schmeltzer, Nicole Doan, Anika Doan, Naomi Weber (Reid), Noelle Wildrom, Britney Bothwell, Brandy Merryman and Morgan Powlenko; her siblings, Joyce Goldman (Larry), MaryLou DeVries (Ken), John Buikema (Marilyn) and Mark Buikema (Patti); and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Wildrom and Joel Wildrom (Andrea Smith). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Reformed Church (301 Washington Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417).
