Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ruth Ann Buckner of Grand Haven, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 88, on April 12, 2025. In the sacred silence of farewell, Ruth is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Ruth's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Melcher and Gertrude Melcher (Munch); her husband Jack Buckner; and her daughter Jackie Laundry. She is survived by: her children, Sharrel Reaume (Dan), William Buckner and Marvin Buckner (Rose). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (527 Taylor Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
