It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roy Elden Closs Jr. of Grand Haven, Michigan, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Elden and Barbara Closs, Sr. (Smith); his children-in-law, Linda Closs and Robert Swanson; and his sisters, Diane Sessoms and Barbara Bastin.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Closs; and his children, Denise Swanson, Roy Closs, III (Susan) and Andrew Closs. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Klaassen Family Funeral Home (1500 Robbins Rd, Grand Haven, MI 49417). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Grand Haven Community Baptist Church or Gentiva Hospice.
