He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vincent Thier and Charlotte Thier (Waffel); his wife Jackie Wood; his children, Jodie Dashner of Muskegon, Ronald Thier, Jr. of Muskegon, Robert Thier of Muskegon and Chuck Thier of Muskegon; his siblings, Gwen Kingsley, Sheila Roberts, Sue Barnum, Zelda Douglas, Shirley Brace and Clint Thier; his siblings-in-law, Travis, Barry Kubler and Margie Martin; his son Jerry Thier; his sister Gail Kingsley; and his brother-in-law Bill Wood. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
