It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Henry Zuidema Sr. of Grand Haven, Michigan, born in Spring Lake, Michigan, who passed away on June 7, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Zuidema and Anna Zuidema (Nuismer); and his siblings, Albert Zuidema, Betty Viening Billups, Alberta Roberts, Anabell Boomgaard, Marion Swart and Elizabeth Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Robyn Vandenberg of Grand Haven, Christy Zuidema of Ferrysburg and Richard Zuidema (Terri) of Port St; his grandchildren, Lisa Crawford (Joel), Alan DeWitt (Jennifer), Jeffrey DeWitt, Nicole Larabel (Skip) and Kaylee Zuidema; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Sophia, Eloise, Eleanor, Juniper, Noah and Zoe. He is also survived by six nieces; and four nephews.
