We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2025, at the age of 58, Richard Leroy Spencer (Grand Haven, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Spencer and Jeraldine Spencer (Smith); and his siblings, Harry Spencer, Jr. and Mary Griswold. He is survived by: his brother Fred; his sister-in-law Janna Spencer; and his nieces and nephews, Jessica Griswold, Deidre Meier (Chris), Fred Spencer, Jr., John Griswold, Jr., Ron Griswold (Bobbie), Michael Griswold (Melissa) and Francis Griswold (Julie).
