We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2021, at the age of 92, Richard Rutherford of Grand Haven, Michigan, born in Belleville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William A. Rutherford and Mary E. Rutherford (Taliaferro); his wife Carol Rutherford; his children, Terry Rutherford (Marsha), Debra Walters (Michael) and Michael Rutherford; his grandchildren, Kimberly Gottshalk (Nolan), Nathan Walters (Laura) and Thomas Walters (Georgia); his great grandchildren, Grady Gottshalk, Celia Gottshalk and Lena Walters; his brother Bob Rutherford (Nova); his grandson Justin Rutherford; and his brothers, Bill and Jack Rutherford.
A public visitation will be held from 10-11 a. m. on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at The VanZantwick Chapel with masks and social distancing required, followed by a private family service with Rev. Dan Anderson officiating.
