He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kuiper and Ruth Kuiper (Mejeur); and his sister Karen Lhamon. He is survived by: his wife Susan Kuiper; his son Dr. Matthew Kuiper (Angela) of Mattawan; his grandchildren, Ava, William, Amelia and Anders; his son Paul Kuiper (Angelica) of Tucson; his grandchildren, Daniel, Abraham and Mia; his daughter Abigail Berkey (Matthew) of Cincinnati; his granddaughters, Heidi, Karin and Lucy; his daughter Mary Elizabeth Kuiper of Grand Haven; his sister Phyllis Kammeraad of Portage, Michigan; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Brown (Tim) and Tom Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Klaassen Family Funeral Home (1500 Robbins Rd, Grand Haven, MI 49417). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pillar Church (57 E 10th St, Holland, MI 49423).
