He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Mieras and Ella Mieras (Osterberg); his former wife Janet Blaney; his daughter Mary Lynn Mieras; his siblings, Warren Mieras and Winifred; and his brother-in-law Donald Badcon.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Bakale Schroeder; his daughter Kim Zevalkink (John); his granddaughter Mary Katherine Pagels (Eric); his great grandchild William; his grandson John Zevalkink (Tamara); his great grandchildren, Clara Ann and John Douglas (JD); his stepdaughters, Paula Bekins (Mark) and Lisa Luckey (Daniel); and his stepgrandchildren, Dr. Drew Bekins, Morgan Lagomarsino (A. J.), Ellery and Miya Luckey.
