He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Stuthard and Florence Stuthard (Houston); and his brother Darryl M. Stuthard. He is survived by: his wife Jeannie; his children, Randi Leigh Stuthard (DeAngelo Foster), Angela Marie Hartel and Kenneth Hartel (Susie); and his goddaughter Marivi Noreiga. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
