It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Caroline Baumer of Grand Haven, Michigan, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Grosskreutz and Ronetta Grosskreutz (Pries); her spouse Leslie "Les" Baumer; her daughter-in-law Marguerite Baumer; her grandchildren, Danielle Baumer and Matthew Baumer; her siblings, Henry "Hank" Grosskreutz Jr. (Angie Ralston), Ronald Grosskreutz, LeRoy Grosskreutz, Geraldine "Geri" Dorfschmidt (Edward), Myrtle "Mertz" Nowak (Edwin "Red") and Rozelle "Rosie" Weisenberger; and her brothers-in-law, Ken Wells (Mary Ann) and Darrell "Beaner" Baumer (Jan).
She is survived by: her children, Steve Baumer (Patty), James Baumer, Jack Baumer (Shelly) and Judy Conklin (James); and her siblings-in-law, Bernice Grosskreutz, Dianne Grosskreutz and Richard "Dick" Baumer (Patricia). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Wausau, WI (930 Edgewood Rd, Wausau, WI 54403). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Trinity Health at Home Hospice Grand Haven, or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Wausau, WI for their general fund.
