She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schade and Geneva Schade (Claucherty); her son-in-law Brian Sherwood; and her brothers, John Michael, Philip and Thomas Schade.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Palmer; her children, Daniel Palmer (Jeanette), Dale Palmer (Sonia Britton), Marlies Sherwood and Charles Palmer (Melissa); her grandchildren, Emily Palmer, Dean Palmer, Samuel Palmer (Katie), Tori Gordon, Miranda Hoopingarner (Jeffrey), Bradley Sherwood, Aidan Palmer (Mica), Arielle Palmer and Elora Palmer; her great grandchildren, Chloe Cobb, Gabby Brown and Makenzie Palmer; and her sister Diane Millspaugh.
