With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merrill Waters of Grand Haven, Michigan, born in Laramie, Wyoming, who passed away on December 4, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Waters and Dorothy Putzell; his stepfather Ned Putzell; his brothers, Patrick Waters and Michael; and his sister-in-law Carol Waters.
He is survived by: his wife Kim Waters; his children, Merrill Corcoran Waters, II of Boston, MA and Meghan Cameron of Vallejo, CA; his brother Tom; his sisters-in-law, Diane Waters of Georgetown, TX and Beverly Waters (Patrick) of Florida; his stepmother JoAnn Waters of Georgetown, TX; his mother-in-law Verna Schoonveld of Grand Haven, MI; his brothers, Greg (Chris Schoonveld), Doug (Julie Schoonveld) and Kelly Schoonveld of Grand Haven, MI; and his nieces and nephews, Nicole Egan, Maggie Lynn, Ami Waters, Kara Kelly, Amy Schoonveld, Jake Waters, Tracy Stark, Matthew Schoonveld, Kara Schoonveld (Jenn Errol) and Holly Hastings.
Memorial Contributions for Merrill may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
