It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary-Ann Kolkema of Grand Haven, Michigan, who passed away on April 17, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredric VanBemmelen and Marian VanBemmelen (VanderMeiden); her husband Ronald Kolkema; her sons, Ron, Dave and Steve Kolkema; and her brothers, Fred VanBemmelen and Dick Kolkema (Shirley).
She is survived by: her children, Bob Kolkema (Patty), Mindy Madrid (Frank) and Jeff Kolkema (Jackie); her grandchildren, David, Aaron (Tara), Alicia Kolkema (Robert), Amy Coletta (Vic), Chris Erickson (Brian), Steve Kolkema, Jenny Savage (Aaron), Frank, Ron Madrid, Jordan, Chelsea Vaccariello and Nathan Kolkema (Bailey); her siblings, Betty Bierman and Bob VanBemmelen (Sherry); and her siblings-in-law, Judy VanBemmelen, Dick Bierman and Roger Kolkema (Linda). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
