We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2023, at the age of 66, Mark Steven Remkes of Grand Haven, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mitchel and Mildred Virgil Remkes (Childs); and his brothers, William "Bill" Remkes and Michael "Mike" Remkes. He is survived by: his daughters, Rachel Simila (Russ) and Laurie Murphy; his grandchildren, Holden Simila, Harper Simila, Corbin Murphy, Lillian Murphy and Nora Murphy; his brother Robert "Bob" Remkes; and his former wife Kathy Sorensen. He is also survived by three nephews.
