We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2023, at the age of 72, Mark A. Kleist of Grand Haven, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Kleist and Marilyn Kleist (Kramer); his son Dean; his siblings, Lynne Freimuts (Arvis) and Stephen; his in-laws, Mike and Jeanne Fortino; his brothers-in-law, Michael Fortino, Jr. and Tom Meagher; and his niece Stacey Cira.
He is survived by: his wife Betsy (Betsy) of Patrick's Catholic Church; his daughter Erin Carmode (Kiel); his grandchildren, Charly and Bodhi; and his in-laws, Pat Fortino (MaryAnn), Martha Meagher, Terry Fortino (Lynn), Mary Ellen Jackson (Ken) and Kelly Fortino. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
