Lois Elaine Pickel Obituary
In loving memory of Lois Elaine Pickel of Grand Haven, Michigan, born in Muskegon, Michigan, who departed this world on November 3, 2024 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Holmgren and Lois Holmgren (Rollenhagen); her spouse Russell Pickel; and her daughter Heidi Elzinga (Pickel). She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Gillespie (Kurt); her grandchildren, Nicholas Lee, Lauren, Ben, Christopher Elzinga, Audry Neitring (Jamie) and Doug Gillespie; her great grandchildren, Duke and Waylon Neitring; and her brothers, Manfred "Fred" Holmgren and Kraig Holmgren (Debra). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Klaassen Family Funeral Home (1500 Robbins Rd, Grand Haven, MI 49417). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
