She was predeceased by: her parents, William Tromp and Leona Tromp (Conaway); her husband Philip M. Vontom; and her brothers, William, Gerrit, Leonard, Marvin, Louis and Claude Tromp.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Lee Workman (Stanley) of Orlando, FL, Peggy Mulder (Charles) of Spring Lake, MI, Pamela Wierenga (Wendell), Ruth Zeoli of Ada, MI and Philip VonTom (Erin) of Grand Haven; and her grandchildren, Bret Workman (Wendy), Carrie Bell (John), Brian Workman (Melissa), Tamara Dodge (Ryan), Dr. Shawn Newhouse (Peter), Matthew Mulder, Chad Mulder (Jodi), Melissa Bolt (Bart), Dr. Janelle Wierenga and Zachary Zeoli. She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
