With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Laura Grace Sterenberg of Grand Haven, Michigan, born in Muskegon, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Laura leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Laura may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Fiet and Grace Fiet (VanderZyl); and her siblings-in-law, Richard Sterenberg (Marilyn), Evelyn Fiet and Gladys Sterenberg.
She is survived by: her sons, Lane Sterenberg of Muskegon and Dr. Michael Sterenberg (Karen) of Grand Haven; and her brother David Fiet of Muskegon. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Reformed Church (301 Washington Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial Contributions in Laura's memory may be made to First Reformed Church or The Grand Haven Salvation Army.
