It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry James Fischer of Grand Haven, Michigan, born in Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on November 4, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Fischer and Margaret Fischer (Vanderberg); his siblings, Joyce Witt, Jean Williams and Jerry Fischer; and his siblings-in-law, Beverly Fochtman, Linda Brandel, Melvin Witt, Paul Fochtman and David Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Judith; his children, Larry II Fischer (Kristin) of Vicksburg, Melinda Mendels (Christopher) of Spring Lake and Greg Fischer (Pat Muskovin) of Grand Haven; his grandchildren, Lindsay Arboleda (David), Aly Meyer (Ethan), Nicholas Mendels (Morgan Khem), Cody Fischer (Emma), Mycah Fischer and Alison Fockler; his great grandchildren, Marlowe, Macklin, Merrick Meyer and Mason Fischer; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Fochtman (Elk), Edward Brandel, Bruce Williams, Madelyn Bouman (Jack), Marian Cox, Bobbi Ely (Ken), Margarete Fochtman and Anita Fischer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
