He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Baumgart and Leona Baumgart (Boyk); his brothers, Ronald and Dale Baumgart; his siblings-in-law, Beth, Chris Baumgart and Dan Hildreth; and his nephew Scott Baumgart.
He is survived by: his siblings, Karen Hildreth of Grand Haven and Al Baumgart of Spring Lake; his sister-in-law Melodee Baumgart of Florida; his nieces and nephews, Kevin Baumgart (Annemarie), Erica Meyer (Jason), Jaime Nienhouse (Mike), Jason Baumgart (Maria), Ashley Sitzer (Josh), Sara Heathcott (Jason), Bryan Hildreth (Shannon Nowak) and Jill Bender (Jeremy); his goddaughter Alexis Baumgart; and his friend Kyle Cook.
