He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius and Mary Rebar, Sr. (Slosarik); his wife Lois A. Homann; and his siblings, Mildred Vokal, Margaret Walwood, Julius Rebar, Jr. and Rudolph Rebar.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Harlan (Carl), Joseph Rebar, Jr. (Wendy) and David Rebar; his stepchildren, Susan Erickson, Jim Pushaw, Robert Pushaw, John Pushaw, William Pushaw and Thomas Pushaw (Eve); and his sister Mary Ann Probst (Larry). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
