It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John F. Nickey of Grand Haven, Michigan, born in Gaston, Indiana, who passed away on July 31, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Mary Nickey (Woodring); his parents-in-law, Emma and Arthur Aden; his son-in-law Doug Smith; his siblings, Robert Nickey and Martha Fisher (Bill); his nephew Seth Nickey; and his brothers-in-law, Roy Swanson and Dr. Marvilee Aden.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Paula Smith of Norton Shores, Renee Rycenga (Lyle) of Grand Haven and Jeff Hunsaker (Diane Moeller) of Grand Rapids; his sister Margaret Swanson of Grand Haven; and his sister-in-law Helen Aden of Moline, IL. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
