He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Schlukebir and Doris Schlukebir (Blade). He is survived by: his wife Diane Schlukebir (Dalman) of Grand Haven; his children, Cynthia Hamilton (Mark) of Orlando, FL, Christine Stamper (Stephen) of Grand Rapids, MI and Joel Schlukebir II (Michele) of Grand Haven; and his granddaughter-in-law Razzle. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
