She was predeceased by: her mother Sandra Carrell (Klop); and her brother Joey Carrell. She is survived by: her father Joe Carrell (Alice); her husband Todd Elder; her children, Gillian Elder of Grand Haven, Bradley Cowan (Stephanie) of Grand Haven and Ryan Elder of Grand Haven; her stepson Justin Helmka; her grandchildren, Lillian Cowan, Denver, Saherra Ryzenga, Tristan and Michael Helmka; her siblings, Colleen Kelch (Joe), Kathi Gaither (Dennis) and Mark Carrell (Mary); her parents-in-law, Merl and Diana Elder; and her brothers-in-law, James Elder (Kendra) and Carl Elder (Catrina).
