We are sad to announce that on May 20, 2021, at the age of 73, Jarvis Kirby of Grand Haven, Michigan, born in Philadelphia, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudie Kirby and Viola Kirby (Powel); his former wife Louise Kirby; and his son Joe Wayne Kirby. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Kirby (Karen) of North Carolina and Tina Marie Kirby of Iowa; his grandchildren, Ryan, Megan Kirby, Steven Kirby (Amanda), David Kirby, Tanya Kirby, Brittany and Brandi Johnson; his sister Debbie Nance (Aubrey) of Alabama; his wife Mary Kirby (Sandberg); his stepchildren, Scott VanVelzen (Tracey), Mark VanVelzen (Tiffany), Virgil Sandberg (Holly) and April Wolniakowski (Jason); his grandchildren, Calvin VanVelzen, Adelyn, Owen, Emerie Wolniakowski and Isaiah VanVelzen; and his parents-in-law, Fred Conover (Virginia Wieringa), Betty Conover, Mitch Laker and Kiona. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
