It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Elaine Meyers of Grand Haven, Michigan, born in Rudyard, Michigan, who passed away on September 5, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Berkompas and Elizabeth Berkompas (Ploegstra); and her siblings, Howard Berkompas, Ted Berkompas, Ed Berkompas (Julie), George Berkompas, Ruth Berkompas and Wilma Lenger (Bill).
She is survived by: her husband Paul Meyers; her friends, Tillie, Ethel, Arlene and Gladys; her children, Karen Meyers, Sue Soper (Paul) and Steve Meyers (Tonya); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Hill (Ben), Lydia Weflen (David), Sam Soper, Anna and Megan Meyers; her great grandchild Eleanor Janet Hill; and her sisters-in-law, Jan Berkompas, Nancy Berkompas, Lois Berkompas and Jean Talsma. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
