It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Jean Selby (Grand Haven, Michigan), born in Ferrysburg, Michigan, who passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Laning and Nellie Laning (Staal); and her husband Ernest Bruce Selby. She is survived by: her children, Norma Snider (Tom), Frank Selby (Barb), Robert Selby, Ronald Selby, David Selby (Kari), Donald Selby (Jeannie), Joanne Hagye (Rich) and Linda Johnson (Charles); and her grandchildren, Sara Cope (Aaron), Mandi Strandberg (Joey), Scott Selby, Sandy Robinson (Ken), Jennifer Mutai, Joel Selby (Steven), Cassie Vredevoogd (Justin), Joseph Hagye, Danielle Hagye, Delicia Eklund (Andy), Nathan Selby (Abby), Tammie DeBusk, Tom Snider Jr. (Jill), Rob Selby, Jenniffer Smith (Patrick), Dan Selby and Ben Selby (Tessa). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
