It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Kolanko of Grand Haven, Michigan, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 2, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Homik and Mary Homik (Rymarz); her husband Wesley Kolanko; and her son Robert Kolanko. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Cindy Kolanko of Grand Haven; her grandchildren, Bob Kolanko (Emily), Tim Kolanko (Heidi) and Jessica Dwyer (Neil); her great grandchildren, Ryan Kolanko, Nolan and Taryn Dwyer; her great great grandchild Acacia Kolanko; and her sisters-in-law, Joie Homik and Sandy Homik.
