He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bekins and Jennie Bekins (Kuyers); and his siblings, Katherine Bruins, Henry, Harvey, Clinton and Clifford.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Mark Bekins (Paula), Shelley Hollar (Terry), Rita Endres (Derek), Rhonda Dryfhout (Steve) and Chris Bekins (Beth); his grandchildren, Morgan, Drew, Dave, Kailee, Adreana, Onica, Maryssa, Abbie, Hannah, Otto, Sam and Dorie; his sister Dorothy VanDoornik; and his mothers-in-law, Elizabeth Styx and Edna Schut. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
