He is survived by: his wife Melanie; his children, Heather Oxley (Robert) of Illinois, Sandra Hall (Dan) of Connecticut and Henry "H. T." Riekels, III of Grand Haven; his stepdaughters, Nora Fitts (Michael) of Virgina and Cynthia Guzman (Peter) of Holland, MI; his grandchildren, Andrea Andre (David), Amelia Fitts, Camden Guzman, Carly Kucharek (Zach), Emma Gillette-Hall, Jack, Cara, Gracie Hall and Thomas VanHoeson; his sister Fritzi Cole (Nigel Lock); and his sister-in-law Sandra Klomparens (Thomas).
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Lake Forest Cemetery (1304 Lake Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417). Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Klaassen Family Funeral Home (1500 Robbins Rd, Grand Haven, MI 49417).
