She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hoy and Nettie Mae McMurphy (Ferguson); her husband Milton "Cecil" Meston; her children, Milton Meston and Mary Hargrave; and her parents-in-law, Alice Tripp (Emerson), Marie Cross (Ralph), Hazel Teets (Bud), Leo Leroy, Arnold Leroy, Mick (Sis), Ervin (Eileen), Jack and Doug (Cleo).

She is survived by: her children, Barb Valentine (Dale) and James Meston (Emma Hinchman); her children-in-law, Gale Hargrave and Susan Meston; and her sister-in-law Cena McMurphy. She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
