We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2020, at the age of 85, Gerald Yaklin of Grand Haven, Michigan, born in Lincoln Park, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Yaklin and Victoria Yaklin (Deitering); his sisters, Phyllis Murphy and Delphine Miller; his son Steven; and his daughter-in-law Laura Yaklin.
He is survived by: his wife Adrienne Pitrak; his children, Linda Byrd (Joey) of Rockingham, N. C., Christopher Yaklin (Amy) of Ellerbe, N. C., Gregory Yaklin (Shelleye) of Grand Haven, MI and Stephen Karas (Andrea) of Charlotte, N. C.; his sister Theresa Duringer of Camas, WA; and his sister-in-law Sandra Mayer of Chicago. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
