He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Krafft; his children, Tammi Wilkins of Grand Haven and George "Skip" Wilkins of Bay City; his grandson George Wilkins; his nephew Gary Wilkins; and his nieces, Connie Mendyk, Carol Nickles and Janet Kennelly.
