He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. and Bonita Smith, Sr. (Plummer); his wife Marilyn Smith; and his sister Patricia Duker. He is survived by: his children, Christi Lynn Smith-Heinz of Grand Haven, Tari Smith (Penny) of Grand Haven and Randy Smith (Karen) of Grand Haven; his stepchildren, Sue Grevel (Jerry) of Muskegon and Jim Searer of Muskegon; and his sister Jean Owens of Orange, CA.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
