He was predeceased by: his parents, Orin Sheffield and Katie Sheffield (Diephouse); and his siblings, Ella Karel (Claude), Oren Sheffield (Sharon) and Donald Sheffield (Arlene).
He is survived by: his wife Beth Sheffield; his children, Kelsey English (James) of Grand Haven, Kathryn Franke (Robert) of Grand Haven and Kyle Sheffield of Berrien Springs, MI; and his siblings-in-law, Connie Larson (Tom) and Ken Kadrovich. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
