She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Shaffer and Virginia Shaffer; her sister Brenda Shouse; her sister-in-law Penny Shaffer; and her nephew Patrick Edds.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Gary Ellinger; her sons, Carson Meade III (Lisa) and Charles "Brian" Atkins (Deborah); her grandchildren, Caiden, Charlie and Alex; her brother Harvey Shaffer; and her nieces and nephews, Sherry Dahman, Dawn Willochell, Nathan Edds, Todd Shaffer and Scott Shaffer.
