He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Weesies and Jantina Weesies (Newmyer); and his brother Calvin Weesies. He is survived by: his wife June Weesies of Grand Haven; his sons, Scot Weesies (Linda) of Gulf Port, FL, Brent Weesies (Lori) of Caledonia, MI and Todd Weesies of Grand Rapids, MI; his grandchildren, Jennifer Couture (Brandon), Jessica Rider (Kyle), Chad Weesies (Leah) and Jack Weesies; his great grandchildren, Logan, Blakely Couture, Jamison, Emilia and Theodore Rider; his siblings, Charlotte Betten of Grand Rapids, Ellen Johnson of Montague, Fran Weerstra of Spring Lake, David Weesies (Barb) and Kenneth Weesies; and his parents-in-law, Jerry, John, Tom, David Kool, Madge Jerovsek, Mary Hall and Cherri Deur.
