He was predeceased by: his parents, Duncan Palmer and Bernice Palmer (Andrews); his wife Patricia Palmer; his son-in-law Brian Sherwood; his stepsisters, Judy Towel and Priscilla Dalton; and his brothers-in-law, John Schade, Philip Schade and Thomas Schade.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Palmer (Jeanette), Dale Palmer (Sonia Britton), Marlies Sherwood and Charles Palmer (Melissa); his grandchildren, Emily Palmer, Dean Palmer, Samuel Palmer (Katie), Tori Gordon, Miranda Hoopingarner (Jeffrey), Bradley Sherwood, Aidan Palmer (Mica), Arielle Palmer and Elora Palmer; his great grandchildren, Chloe Cobb, Gabby Brown, Mackenzie Palmer and Elenore Palmer; his brother Jack Palmer (Cloe); his stepsister Marilyn Arnett-Pearce (Jack); and his sister-in-law Diane Millspaugh (Camp).
