He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Blackmer and Dolores Blackmer (Marchido); his children, Cherill Ann Blackmer and Benjamin Blackmer; and his sister Sandra Jo Blackmer.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Blackmer of Grand Haven; his children, Tracy Simonds (Derek) of Grand Haven, Joanna Gabet (Charley) of Indiana, Burton Blackmer (Britt) of Indiana, Chris Blackmer (Jenn) of Grand Haven, Art Blackmer of Grand Haven and Jeff Blackmer (Lisa) of Grand Haven; and his siblings, Kathy Kendra, Frank Blackmer (Cheryl) and David Blackmer. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
