Charles Benes Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Benes Sr. of Grand Haven, Michigan, who passed away on December 28, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Benes and Violet Benes (Rezny); his wife Phyllis Ann Potter; his son Charles E. Benes, Jr.; and his siblings, George Rezny, Bobby Benes (Phyllis), John Benes, Anna Widing (Gordon), Rose Henry and Marie Goresch (Dick).
He is survived by: his daughter Violet Phipps of Grand Haven; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Rezny and Nancy Benes. He is also survived by his five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Harbor Humane Society.
