She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kieft and Ruth Kieft (Briegel). She is survived by: her husband Wayne Merz; her son David Merz (Amy); her grandsons, Hans and Devin Merz; her brothers, William Kieft (Sue) and Dennis Kieft (Jane); and her brother-in-law Roger Merz (Caroline). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's United Church of Christ (1401 S Griffin St, Grand Haven, MI 49417). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
